Inspired by our grandmother, we launched Lumeen over a year ago to enable seniors to have strong, stimulating and socially connected experiences in retirement homes. We've focused on this goal so far, but Lumeen can also improve the daily lives and care of people with disabilities and illnesses. Our mission now is to make Lumeen accessible to as many people as possible.

The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region has understood the benefits that we deliver today in nursing homes, and those that we will bring tomorrow to people with disabilities. That's why they decided to help us in our mission! Thanks to financial support of nearly 100,000 euros, we are going to test Lumeen with disabled people in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region. For 2 years, we will improve the daily lives of hundreds of disabled people. We will work with specialized educators, psychomotricians, doctors, psychologists, and other paramedical professionals to better understand the specificities of the sector and adapt our tools to the care of people with disabilities.

We are very happy to conduct this project with recognized field partners, namely:

• APF France disability: the most important French association for the defense and representation of people with disabilities and their families.
• Odyneo: an association of families that acts in Rhône, Ain and Jura, for the well-being of people with disabilities and their loved ones.
• The Richard Foundation which welcomes and supports young people and adults with disabilities in their life projects and their social integration.

Thanks to these partnerships, we will experiment with Lumeen with various audiences: children, adolescents and adults with all types of disabilities. These audiences have their own needs, and Lumeen will be able to provide a non-drug solution in order to improve well-being, reduce anxiety, pain, and for some, regain autonomy.
