La Blue week which takes place every year in October, is a week dedicated to promoting the place of seniors in social life. Everywhere in France, municipalities and associations organize workshops And activities to share with seniors and who promote the link between generations.

This is the case of the Communal Center for Social Actions of the city of Charly, which called on young people from the Municipal Children's Council (CME) to animate, with the elderly, a workshop with the helmets of vr Lumeen. The involvement of young CMEs in Blue Week makes it possible to introduce young people to real political life and to the challenges of preventing the loss of autonomy.

Very easy to use, the device Lumeen can be handled quickly. Accompanied by the CCAS presenter, and already very comfortable with digital technology, the children knew how to use the tool in just a few minutes.

The tool Lumeen offers a rich and varied catalog of more than a hundred immersive movies on the themes of travel, nature and culture. The children and the animator involved the seniors in choosing the program, which focused on a hot air balloon ride, a visit to a glacier, and finally a trip to the island of Santorini. Thanks to visual feedback, to the animation sheets and the annotations provided on the tablet, the young people were able stimulate exchanges and guide participants through the experiences.

The tablet could also be broadcast on a television screen, allowing more participants to be included in the experience.

Lumeen also offers a program based on Google Street View which, at the end of the session, allowed seniors to virtually return to highlights Of their Childhood and share their memories with young people: The emotion was at the rendezvous.
