Lumeen: winner of the Audiens Generations Foundation Excellence Award

The 2020 Audiens Generations Foundation Award of Excellence goes to Lumeen.
Every year, The Audiens Generations Foundation rewards works, projects or initiatives that highlight culture as a vector of sharing and solidarity, a source of well-being and emancipation between generations.
Created in 2008, the Foundation extends the commitment of the Audiens Group, which places diversity and solidarity at the heart of its business project. Since its creation, more than 3000 applications have been received and 45 winners have been rewarded in the audiovisual, communication, press and performing arts sectors.
This year, three initiatives were recognized. The 2020 Excellence Award goes to Lumeen. Thanks to our virtual reality solution, we are committed to allowing audiences who are prevented from having access to cultural practice. Our immersive cultural programs, adapted to the elderly, thus serve as a non-medicinal and fun solution. They help fight social isolation, depression, anxiety, pain, facilitate memory and cognitive stimulation, and thus put culture at the service of health.
We would like to thank all the members of the Institut de France jury, composed of recognized personalities in the cultural, communication and media sectors, for this distinction. It is in fact the first time that the latter has been awarded to a start-up and that Lumeen has received an award in the field of culture, which we are very proud of. In addition to the visibility that the Foundation brings us, the gratification received will be a real support, making it possible to finance and diversify our cultural content.
We also wanted to congratulate the other winners: Les Concerts de l'Auditorium and the Association of Popular Concerts and Philharmonie des Deux Mondes for their Encouragement Prizes!
