Our virtual reality solution for nursing homes broadcast on the France 3 JT!

The team of Yaëlle Marie from France 3 made a very nice report that shows the joy that Lumeen virtual reality workshops bring to elderly people in nursing homes. This report was broadcast on the regional news last week. Back in pictures!

We would like to thank and congratulate them, because in 3min30 they were able to perfectly transcribe the key points of our concept: shared experiences that provide strong emotions, exchanges and cognitive stimulation, simplicity of use, a desire to reconnect our seniors with the outside world and art, and our scientific research projects to assess the effectiveness of our tool with specialists.

“Escape at your fingertips.” France 3 understood our concept very well and this sentence is very similar to our slogan “The world at your fingertips. Thanks to virtual reality, Lumeen allows seniors to travel in groups and dream. These moments of escape and sharing improve well-being and social ties in nursing homes.

Making art accessible to the elderly and disabled is also one of our missions. This report shows our first collaboration with the Atelier des Lumières in Paris and it is only the beginning as we are actively looking for other partners who want to make art accessible to prevented audiences.

France 3 also released an article on their site that includes part of our interview on nursing homes and which also shows how virtual reality can also be used to treat phobias.
