Yaëlle Marie’s team at France 3 produced a wonderful report showing the joy that virtual reality workshops bring to elderly people care homes. The report aired on the regional news last week. Take a look at the footage!
We would like to thank and congratulate them, because in 3 minutes and 30 seconds they perfectly captured the key points of our concept: shared experiences that evoke strong emotions, foster interaction, and provide cognitive stimulation; ease of use; a commitment to reconnecting our seniors with the outside world and the arts; and our scientific research projects to evaluate the effectiveness of our tool with specialists.
Getaway Your Fingertips.” France 3 really understood our concept, and this phrase closely mirrors our slogan, “The world at your fingertips.” Thanks to virtual reality, Lumeen allows seniors to travel in groups and let their imaginations run wild. These momentsGetaway shared experiences enhance well-being and social connections in care homes.
Making art accessible to elderly people with disabilities is also one of our missions. This report highlights our first collaboration with the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, and this is just the beginning, as we are actively seeking other partners who wish to make art accessible to people with limited access.
France 3 also publishedan article on its website that includes part of our interview on care homesand also shows how virtual reality be used to treat phobias.
