Silver Valley has just released its list of the 40 startups in the silver economy worth investing in, and Lumeen is one of them!

Who is Silver Valley?

Silver Valley is an ecosystem that brings together 300 players in the “silver economy,” which encompasses all products and services aimed at seniors. Its goal is to accelerate the development and market launch of innovative solutions to promote healthy aging and generate growth and jobs. Silver Valley is therefore an expert both in the field of the senior population and in the areas of innovation and startup support. It is thanks to this dual expertise that they were able to analyze startups in the silver economy and compile a list of the top 40!

Analysis Criteria

To compile this ranking, Silver Valley, in collaboration with the engineering school CentraleSupélec, used specific criteria. They analyzed:

• The ability of startups to offer relevant solutions tailored to the needs of older adults.
• The founding team's experience.
• The ability to seize opportunities.
• Identifying scalability drivers to achieve a sustainable model.
• The clarity of the strategy and long-term vision.
• The various awards won by these startups.

Based on these criteria, 40 startups were selected!

Lumeen is one of the 40!

We are very pleased to see that Lumeen is included in the ranking alongside startups, each one more innovative than the next! Especially since the vast majority of these companies have been in business for more than three years, and we are one of only seven startups that haven’t reached that milestone yet! In addition, Silver Valley also organizes the Charles Foix Award, the most selective competition in the silver economy, which Lumeen won in 2020 (learn more).
