Lumeen joins the third cohort of the heritage incubator

Selected from among more than 80 applicants, we are pleased to join the third cohort of the heritage incubator. This wonderful recognition will allow us to collaborate with two century-old institutions to make heritage accessible to everyone.
A wonderful opportunity
The Heritage Incubator is a support program organized by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN). For a period of 6 months to 1 year, a handful of startups are given access to the CMN’s 100 monuments to showcase French heritage through innovation.
Startups receive support from experts who help them refine their projects and scale up. In addition, the incubator benefits from a strong network that opens doors beyond the incubation program.
For the Class of 2020, the CMN has partnered with the SNCF Group, which owns a vast railway and industrial heritage. This will allow us to create virtual tours of major monuments as well as journeys on vintage trains that are sure to bring back memories!

Since its founding, Lumeen has been committed to making culture and heritage more accessible by offering tailored cultural experiences. Over time, we have developed expertise in producing immersive content for elderly people or have limited mobility. In this way, Lumeen addresses a significant challenge for local communities. Indeed, ensuring accessibility for people with limited mobility is a key mission and an essential public service for fostering social cohesion and improving community life.
Working alongside cultural mediation specialists and site administrators, we will pool our resources to create high-quality experiences. We look forward to sharing the first results with you.
