Lumeen is celebrating its first anniversary!

After spending a few months developing a prototype, we filed the articles of incorporation to establish Lumeen exactly one year ago.
A quick look in the rearview mirror: what a long way we’ve come! In the space of twelve months, we’ve assembled a complementary and close-knit team; forged strategic partnerships with major private and nonprofit organizations; launched clinical research projects with renowned scientific teams; won several competitions and bids; and convinced dozens ofcare homes, assisted-living facilities, hospitals, and home healthcare providers to adopt Lumeen across France. We are humbled and grateful to our partners, employees, and clients, who have made it possible for us to achieve so much.
It would be easy to focus only on our successes, but let’s not forget our failures. This year has been fraught with challenges. We’ve weathered periods of uncertainty and emerged stronger. Our recent successes and the opportunities they open up are our greatest reward (and some exciting announcements are coming soon… 🥁). We’ve worked hard to get here, and I’m proud of the entire team.
Let’s keep our eyes on the future. In our second year, we have set ourselves the ambitious goal of becoming the European leader in virtual reality . We have everything we need to make this happen, and your support is invaluable.
To celebrate our first anniversary, we’d like to honor those who trust and support us:
- To our team, who work hard every day to move Lumeen forward and improve care and the daily lives of elderly people
- To the decision-makers and facility directors who believe in our project, and to their healthcare teams and program leaders who consistently provide us with valuable feedback to help us improve our tools.
- To the doctors and researchers who guide our scientific thinking and evaluate the effectiveness of our tools;
- To our advisors, who guide our decisions with kindness;
- To our subcontractors who contribute their part to the project;
- To government agencies and sponsors, who drive our progress and help fund our experimental and development projects,
- To the competitiveness clusters, business introducers, journalists, and friends who connect us and provide us with opportunities;
-
THANK YOU. We understand the responsibility that comes with your trust. We won't let you down 😉
